Discolored Water

Yesterday you may have noticed that the water in Montgomery County MUD 88 may have been discolored. This was due to the Southern Montgomery Fire Department flushing the district’s fire hydrants for flow testing for ISO insurance ratings.

The water you are consuming is safe to drink and there is no reason for concern. Please flush your faucets for 15 minutes and if it does not clear up, please contact Municipal Operations & Consulting at 281-367-5511. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.
